From Therapist to Top Producer: How Diana Reinvented Herself Through Real Estate

Before she was closing deals and helping people find their dream homes, Diana spent over two decades as a massage therapist. Her work was meaningful—she loved helping people heal—but after 23 years (and time in the Air Force before that), the physical toll started to catch up to her. Deep down, she’d always been drawn to real estate but never really knew how to take the first step.

That changed in October of 2022 when she officially got licensed. At the time, she thought joining a small boutique brokerage would be the right fit. But as a new agent, she quickly realized she needed more than just a brokerage—she needed real training, systems, and real people to lean on.

Fast forward to April 2025, and Diana closed seven transactions in one month.

Yep, seven.

She credits a lot of that to Rebecca Williams, the Director of Sales at Paramount Home Group, for keeping her accountable and helping her get organized with her follow-ups. Diana says that’s one of the biggest shifts she’s made—taking real ownership of her business and not treating it like a hobby. When things go wrong, she doesn’t make excuses. She finds solutions.

“Anytime there’s a mistake, I have to recognize it and correct it. This is my business, and I have to treat it that way,” she said.

April was a huge month, not just in terms of numbers, but mindset. Diana focused hard, stayed present, and practiced what she calls her “30-second rule.” That means she allows herself 30 seconds to panic when something feels overwhelming, then takes a deep breath and moves into solution mode.

Her background in massage therapy—and the technical problem-solving skills that came with it—actually translate really well into real estate. She’s always been someone who figures things out, and her clients feel that energy too. Even when challenges come up during a transaction, there’s a calm, confident vibe that Diana brings to the table. People trust her. And she earns that trust by showing up authentically and doing the work.

She shared a couple wins from April that really stood out:

  • One of her clients had a dream of living in a canal-front home, but didn’t think it was possible. Diana helped him understand the process, sold his current home, and got him into his dream home on the water—all in one seamless move. Two closings. One happy client.

  • Another client was a single mom buying her first home. Diana related to her deeply, felt the weight of the responsibility, and guided her through the fear and uncertainty. That family is now settling into their brand new construction home, and Diana says it’s one of the closings she’s most proud of.

Outside of real estate, Diana is an avid reader and loves audiobooks. She recently signed up for a stained glass class to get back into her creative side—she used to love glass fusing and is excited to explore that again.

And personally, she gives all the love and thanks to her daughter, who has been her biggest supporter from day one. When Diana first came to Paramount Home Group, she was nervous. She wasn’t sure if she’d fit in or if she could really make this work. But now, as she approaches her one-year anniversary with the team this June, she’s already closed 14 transactions in 2025 alone.

Diana found her home—and built a business she’s proud of.

Her message to anyone thinking about buying or selling?

“If you’re doubting whether now’s the right time, don’t give up. Reach out. I’ll give you honest advice and help you move forward, one step at a time.”
