Agent Spotlight: Anthony Beccaria – Chasing Potential, Not Perfection

Before stepping into the world of real estate, Anthony Beccaria was no stranger to hard work. He started young—working in restaurants, driving trucks, hustling through door-to-door sales, valet parking, golf courses, and customer service jobs. If it involved showing up and putting in the effort, Anthony probably did it.

At 21, he joined the U.S. Coast Guard. It was a stable career, one that could’ve easily become long-term. But deep down, real estate was always there in the back of his mind. Maybe it was because of his grandmother—who was a real estate powerhouse in Florida during the ’80s and ’90s, selling up to 80 homes a month before the internet changed the game. She was his first example of what success in real estate could look like. He admired her. Still does.

Midway through his Coast Guard career, Anthony decided to pivot. He got his real estate license and enrolled at the University of Tampa to study finance—balancing college and clients at the same time. While juggling everything, he never made being a student an excuse. In his first six months, he sold six homes. The following year, ten more. Then 17. But even with that momentum, he considered those numbers “average.” Anthony holds himself to a high standard—so when he started his first full year with four months of no deals, the doubt crept in.

That was one of the lowest points. Going from a steady Coast Guard paycheck to nothing was rough. But in June, everything flipped—three closings in one month. It reminded him of a simple truth: stay in the game long enough and the tide turns.

Recently, Anthony made a bold move—relocating from Tampa to Miami to help launch Paramount Home Group’s expansion there. He had been stationed in Miami during his Coast Guard years, but this time was different. New market. New rhythm. No comfort zone. He chose discomfort on purpose, knowing it would force him to evolve. “It made me understand that I’m still a student,” he said. “I have to learn every single day.”

May was a standout month for Anthony—he closed five deals. But what most people don’t see is the five others that fell through. He doesn’t sugarcoat it. "I ate shit,” he says with a laugh. But every deal he lost was a decision he stood by. “Being an advisor comes first,” and he meant it—he walked away from deals that weren’t right for his clients.

One story stands out: a family searching for a $150K home, turned away by a loan officer who told them they wouldn’t qualify. Anthony didn’t take that as the final word. He found them a better lender. Four months later, they closed on a $207K home that appraised for even more. Two kids, a tough living situation—and now, a place to call home. “That one felt different,” he said. “It felt impossible for them—but we made it happen.”

Fear is a motivator for Anthony—not of failure, but of wasted potential. A David Goggins video stuck with him, where Goggins imagines meeting God after death. God shows him a list of everything he could have done.
“But I didn’t do any of that,” Goggins says.
“This is who you were supposed to be,” God replies.

That moment stuck with Anthony—it lit a fire.

He doesn’t come from wealth. Raised by his Dad, from tough and humble beginnings—he’s proof that failure and success really are neighbors. He’s betting on faith, hard work, and the belief that he can do more.

For 2025, he’s aiming for 30 closings. Long term? Ultra-luxury real estate. Maybe flipping homes. Maybe leading a team. Probably all of it.

If Anthony could tell his younger self one thing?
“You’re not wrong.”
And if you want to quit?
“Quit tomorrow. Wake up and quit again the next day.”
